Every class at our school is filled with purposeful activities that provide kids lots of chances to participate in the learning process by using practical materials. We embrace the adage, To learn it! Take action!

Research has shown that children learn best when they are active participants in their own learning rather than passive spectators. We believe that children are competent co-creators of their own knowledge. Hence, we create playful learning experiences that embrace their natural curiosity, laying a solid foundation for deep learning to occur.

Often, the resultant effect is that our learners are able to show what they know in real and varied life situations.

We have included "21st-century skills," as defined by international organizations and multi-industry leaders, into our current curriculum to equip our kids for the intricacies and uncertainties of the twenty-first century.

Among them are: Effective communication and collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Others include: initiative, decision-making, negotiation, citizenship, and financial and digital literacy.

We do not know how different life would be 20 to 30 years from now but we know that many jobs would be wiped off the list of employable jobs. It has been established that the above skill- set would set the children’s future learning, life, and carrer on the path of success.

Play is a child’s work, so says Maria-Montessori the founder of the world-acclaimed Montessori teaching method. Fun-filled activities are a hallmark of education at HOPEWIN School. When children are having fun, learning becomes emotional and unforgettable, literally.

So while we learn the serious stuff, we incorporate various types of play. In doing so, amidst the joy and excitement, the love for learning and for the teacher intensifies, and voilà! Transformation occurs.

Play-based learning is multisensory and fulfills the interest of the predominant learning styles of our learners found in any class: the auditory, visual, tactile, and kinaesthetic learners. No child is left behind!

At HOPEWIN School, we take the continuous development of our teachers very seriously because teachers are the engine room of a school and play a very important role even beyond the school to national development. We know that the quality of teachers is directly related to the quality of the outcomes of pupils.

Our teachers, therefore, undergo weekly and periodic continuous professional development sessions, preparing them for the onerous task of teaching.
